The Scenic Choptank River
Our property extends to the shore of the Choptank River where you can be entertained by watching the abundant wildlife or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. You are welcome to bring your small boat, canoe or kayak. There is a free public boat ramp just two blocks away. Fishing is good throughout the warm months. Large mouth bass, crappie, perch & catfish are all plentiful. You will need a state fishing license (temporary license can be purchased for a small fee).
For you non-fishing boaters or canoers, the river offers beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife including turtles, beaver & birds of all varieties.
